Summer Adventures + My Favorite Swimsuits for the Season

Updated: Aug 4, 2020

Covid-19 has brought a lot of change, but I've been fortunate enough to have still had some fun days this summer. A friend of mine visited from Utah and so our mutual friends all got together and went down to Shake Shack at Crystal Cove. Brings back so many childhood memories from staying in those cottages!

The day after was the craziest of the three we spent together. We started off playing Spikeball at the park (I'm terrible). Then we decided we wanted to go to Yogurtland, so we drove over. When we got there it looked like it was probably closed, but I decided to pull on the door to check anyway and -- it opened. What?! We were walking in and starting to get our yogurt when I finally thought to ask "hello? anyone here?". No response. It was so funny; I think just because of the adrenaline because when I tell the story it's never as fun as it felt in the moment. Anyway, our grocery store ice cream and late-night swim/ girl chat was a good time nonetheless.

Late-night swimming with no bathing suit - what's a girl to do? We ended up picking up the suits and towels at one of my friend's houses to save time. But, it gave me the idea for my blog post this week. Swimsuits are a summer essential and I think even with Covid-19 many of us still have opportunities to use them. So here is a roundup of some of my favorite options.

Pink-Gingham | Blue and Orange Daisy | Navy Ruche | White Scallop | Color Block One-Shoulder | Red One-Shoulder

I prefer to wear one-pieces, but if you prefer to wear a two-piece I would just look at the two-piece style from that same brand. Each of these had two-piece versions of the pattern/color/style I saw the one piece in.
